Royal Canin Veterinary Canine Urinary S/O Small Dogs is a complex food specially developed for small breed dogs that have problems with urinary stones. The special formula consists in creating such an environment in which the crystals can no longer form and the ones that have already formed gradually begin to dissolve.

Royal Canin Urinary dog ​​food has a low protein content and also a lower magnesium ratio. This fact causes acidification of the urine, which contributes to reducing the risk of new stone formation. In addition, the feed helps to destroy stones that already exist. At the same time, it contains substances that take care of the animal's teeth, as they bind calcium contained in saliva, which is responsible for the formation of tartar.

Indication:
• For struvite stones: dissolution and prevention of recurrence
• For oxylates: prevention of recurrence
• Bacterial cystitis: provision of secondary struvite crystals (in conjunction with adequate antibiotic treatment)

Contraindication:
•Chronic kidney disease (CKD)
• Heart disease (if sodium restriction is required)
• Concomitant use of other urine acidifying drugs
•Growth phase, pregnancy or lactation
