Most older cats suffer from kidney disease. The causes are various and it is difficult to diagnose such a disease in the initial stage. In any case, it is essential to feed the cat a diet to prevent further kidney damage. Cats suffering from kidney disease often also suffer from a loss of appetite and may therefore not receive enough food. Royal Canin Veterinary Renal Select offers an effective solution. The special texture of the granules with a crispy crust and a soft core stimulates the taste. The feed also contains an increased amount of energy, EPA and DHA, antioxidants and a small amount of phosphorus. A balanced amount of quality proteins contributes to the cleansing of the kidneys.
