Many dogs today live indoors, so they don't get enough exercise and require relatively little energy to maintain their bodily functions. Obesity affects not only the well-being of your animal, but also threatens health in the long term and can significantly reduce life expectancy.

Royal Canin Veterinary Canine Satiety Weight Management offers a complete diet for overweight dogs over 1 year of age. This feed can also be used for hyperlipidemia and diabetes mellitus. The reduced energy content makes it possible to feed the same amount as conventional dog food. Satiety Weight Management's satiety effect is based on a combination of high protein content and high fiber content. Special functional ingredients also help support joints and bones burdened by excess weight.

Duration of treatment:

The table with recommended daily doses is based on the target weight of the animal and the degree of overweight. Optimal weight loss is 1 to 3% of body weight per week. If you want to maintain your weight after reaching your target weight, you can switch to SATIETY, WEIGHT CONTROL or NEUTERED products. Energy intake in the weight maintenance phase should in any case be at most 10% higher than in the last reduction phase.
