The use of this preparation is particularly suitable for nutritional or non-eating deficiencies or inadequate food intake, during convalescence, post-operative disease, exhaustion, and increased performance.
Taurine is vitally important for cats and its deficiency leads to degenerative retinal damage (Area centralis), which is clinically manifested by decreased visual acuity, mydriasis and subsequent blindness of the animal. Lack of taurine can also cause cardiomyopathy.
